Ok I have a confession...

Ok I have a confession..., originally uploaded by justinmarantz.

Every year I watch It's a wonderful life (or at least some part of it)
and EVERY year I cry! It's the end that gets me when everyone shows up
to help George raise the money...and then his brother shows up. Gets
me everytime! So what's your must watch holiday movie? I actually have
a bunch on my list, but I want to hear yours first and then I'll share
mine. C'mon I'll show you mine if you show me yours! LOL ok go....

I LOVE that movie! I watched it with my husband for his first time this year and we both get all warm and fuzzy about the ending :)

My top Christmas movies are Prancer, In the Good Old Summertime (Judy Garland), and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...."You taught me everything I know about exterior illumination".

I'm there with Jerome, A Christmas Story for sure! And the other one I hafta watch is Home Alone :) When I feel myself losing control of my eating this time of year (too many good choices!) I always think of the scene where Kevin is sitting in the living room and he says "Mom, I'm watching crap and eating garbage, ya better come out and stop me!!"

Love your work guys!

My confession is the same as yours.... every year since I can remember I watch "It's a Wonderful Life" with my family on Christmas Eve. And my first year spending Christmas with Peter's family, he bought it for me so we could continue the tradition. I boo-hoo every time I watch it!

Hope you guys have a great Christmas!

--National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
--Elf ("We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.")
--A Christmas Story

We recently watched A Christmas Story with 4 year old Madeline... and in trying to build up her excitement before the movie started, I tried to give a quick plot synopsis: "It's about a boy, and all he wants for Christmas is a BB Gun. But everyone keeps saying, 'You'll shoot your eye out, kid.'"

She now refers to it as, "you know... that movie about the boy and the gun, and he shoots himself. Only he doesn't shoot himself, just his glasses. And remember when Santa tried to kick him down the slide? And Santa said Ho Ho Ho, but not very nicely. And remember how he kept hitting that mean boy?..."

Cute kid, isn't she? :) Merry Christmas!!
