Speaking of Dinners with Great Photographers...

We've had the pleasure of dining with some of the area's best photographers recently. A couple weeks ago we hooked up with Paul and Krystal of Studio Foto in Stafford Springs for an amazing dinner and a tour of their (almost finished) phenomenal new studio. And tonight, we got to meet up with Steve DePino and spend a great couple of hours talking shop. He really knows his stuff. I can't tell you how amazing it is to be friends with these people because we learn so much from them every time in just a couple hours. It's just another reason we are so blessed to be a part of our CT PUG... for bringing all of these awesome people together.

Here is a shot of us with Paul and Krystal...sadly none of us photographers had a camera with us tonight with Steve, so we'll have to make up for it next time.

I was thinking the same thing myself ...you would think one of us would have brought a camera :)
It was great seeing you guys and I hope we meet up again in the near future.

Yeah- I'm glad I thought to grab ours off the shelf the last minute before walking out the door. It's funny, I use to bring my "real" camera everywhere we went, but it's nice to have a camera that fits in your pocket, even though it's not as thrilling as using our big guns! ; ) Anyway, it was wonderful having dinner with you as well- hopefully the first of many!

That's SO true! The big guns are pretty bulky to lug around. We had a sweet little point and shoot, but it died not a even a year after we got it...so we're stuck draggin the D2x around like big photo dorks! :)

Yea we def loved having dinner with all of you guys and we hope it's just the first of many, many more. Maybe next time all five of us can get together! Surely then we'd have a camera!
